SMU interview

i was LATE for the interview this morning.
hahaha. opps.
cos' i missed the bus to wait for meitui for come and pass me his documents.
zzzz.
the person called at 830am, asking where i was.
i told him i was "finding the building".
opps. haha.

i was 10mins late.
so when i reached, 4 of the candidates were staring into the space waiting for late comers.
haha.
luckily there was one more guy who was even more late than me. =x
caught a 15mins video about SIS.
yawn~

then was pick an article to read for 15mins.
i was super SWAY!
i got one article that i don't know what the hell it's talking about.
some mircosoft thingy.
ZZZZZZ.
i am IT NOOB leh. yawn.

then was walking around the room looking at the posters on the walls.
and we were told to interact.
haha.
initially everyone was so quiet.
but then towards the end, some started talking to one another.
then finally was the formal interview in another room.

sat according to our names.
there were 3 profs infront of us.
one was super quiet.
the other 2 kept talking to us,
one of which is an angmoh.
hahaa.
the interview begun.


part 1.
our opinions regarding the article jus now we read.
OMG!
i don't even know wth the article was about lar!
how to give opinion.
others started first while i tried hard to recall what i've read jus now.
theirs was so easy lar.
nothing about COMPUTERS/SOFTWARE.
mine was the toughest and chim-est i think.
zzz.
then i just anyhow crap,
and i said something like,
"if i get into SIS, i would introduce smth to counter the cons/virus about microsoft." (cos the article is like a challenge to the microsoft)
the prof replied,
"to save the world?"
and i replied, "YA."
hahaha.
so kiddish lar. =x


part 2.
we got a question, "do you know how many bicycles are used in Singapore?"
we are supposed to jot down our thinking process on how to derive the final answer, onto a piece of paper
and present later.
YAWN.
i didn't read carefully so i thought it was "how many bicycles are there in SG?"
i anyhow-ed of cos. haha.
the rest gave ans like,
"considering the household income..", "the statistics of SG..", "2 out of 10 used bicycles.."
to explain their ans.
while mine was..

my answer was 1.8million.
so the guy asked me how i derived that.
my replied was "Wild Guess." =.=
hahahaz.


part 3.
we were divided into 2 teams to solve a puzzle.
none got it correct, given the time constrain.
but we had to present why and stuff.
zzz.
uni is SOOOOO MUUCCCHH about PRESENTATION.


part4.
Q&A.
nothing much.
i caught nothing at all..
all talking about IT etc etc.. zzz.
but there was one question regarding who didn't put SIS as their first choice and got in,
then asked about our feelings and why.
luckily the guy beside me answered.
then they didn't ask anymore.
if not, i wouldn't know how to ans that also.


yup yup..
that's roughly about the whole interview..
took two hrs..
YAWN.

anw.
if i get into this SIS course,
it would be a MIRACLE!
hahaha. cos i don't think i was that enthu during the interview.
found out that actually it was not my interest afterall.
wonder why i put it as my 3rd choice lastime.
hahah.
